Scentwork - 4 weeks (Starts Jan 2025)

Service Description

The course is suitable for dogs from 1 year old and is aimed at beginners or dogs with limited scentwork training. You'll learn how to read your dog's body language, understand how dogs find odours, how to handle scent items, how to set up search areas and the requirements to pass Level 1 Scentwork. Progression is to continue training in the next block of sessions. Dogs must be sociable with people and dogs All training is through reward and play based, modern techniques. We believe in the five freedoms and won't recommend using any equipment or techniques, which go against them. Your trainer is Helen, she's a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a member of the Pet Professional Guild (British Isles) and listed as an ATI with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council.
